Thomas Guilty of Sexual Abuse & Sodomy Charges - Week of April 14th

Two couragous young women found some measure of justice this week as Joseph Lamont Thomas was found guilty of sexual abuse and sodomy after a four day jury trial.

Coming forward after enduring years of sexual molestation by Thomas, the victims testified to a jury about the abuse. They are my heros. Due to their courage, and the outstanding work of Chief Assistant Will Powell and Victim Service Officer Deanna Tidwell, Thomas is no longer free to prey on other children. He was jailed after the jury verdict and will be sentenced by Judge Gil Self on May 7th. He faces up to life in prison.
