One Place Building Purchased

On Thursday, September 4th, we took the next step in making One Place of the Shoals Family Justice Center a reality. We closed on the purchase of the building! We are now moving forward with the necessary renovations to the building. Simco Construction Company has generously donated their services to complete this project.

We have had many community supporters of this project and need continued support as we proceed with a capital campaign to raise the additional funds for the building. Bob and Carole Bevis, pictured with us at the closing, have made a significant personal contribution to the project and are providing interest-free financing on the building’s purchase.
