Thompson Parole Denied

Parole Denied: I traveled to Montgomery to oppose the early release of Roger Keith Thompson at the parole board. Thompson has served about half of a 20 year sentence for a brutal assault he committed. The victim has been in constant contact with our office since being notified of the parole hearing. The victim’s health prevented him from personally appearing at the board. It was my honor to appear on his behalf and to be the voice of the victim in urging the parole board to deny parole. Thankfully, the board did the right thing and denied parole.
